TE Tyler Higbee of the Los Angeles Rams entered into an agreement to avoid jail time, pleading guilty to an assault charge in a 2016 incident in Kentucky that left a man hospitalized. The 24-year-old Higbee, a former Western Kentucky standout, pleaded guilty Friday to assault under extreme emotional disturbance. Bowling Green (Ky.) Police said Higbee punched Nawaf Alsaleh during a fight in April 2016. Alsaleh was later diagnosed with a concussion. A month after his arrest, the 6-6, 257-pound Higbee was drafted in the fourth round by the Rams in 2016. He caught 11 passes for 85 yards and a touchdown in 16 games last season.
