DE DaQuan Jones wound up getting the majority of the snaps on the nose, as the Titans played a lot of nickel defense. But Jones spelled normal starter Sylvester Williams in base as well on Sunday.

WR Rishard Matthews continues to be a go-to guy for QB Marcus Mariota. He had five catches for 71 yards in the game.

QB Marcus Mariota was 25 of 41 for 256 yards passing and had three rushes for 26 yards, including a 10-yard TD run.

CB LeShaun Sims was out of the opener with a groin injury, but should be back this week.

S Curtis Riley, a healthy scratch in the opener, should be on the game-day roster this week with Johnathan Cyprien out.

RB DeMarco Murray carried the ball just 12 times for 44 yards in the game. Other than one 23-yard run, Murray was bottled up for much of the day.

S Da'Norris Searcy will start in place of Johnathan Cyprien. Searcy was the primary starter at strong safety last season.

WR Eric Decker had a lackluster debut for the Titans. He was thrown to 10 times, but had just three catches for 10 yards.

S Johnathan Cyprien suffered a hamstring injury and will miss several weeks with the injury.
